Can you officiate, and is registration required?
Wyoming sets no officiant registration; a county clerk states that it does not require documentation about an officiant’s credentials, only that they qualify under the statute. District and circuit court judges, district court commissioners, supreme court justices, magistrates, and every licensed or ordained minister of the gospel, bishop, priest or rabbi, or other qualified person acting in accordance with the traditions or rites of any religion, denomination or religious society, may perform the ceremony. Two attending witnesses hear the declaration, and the license expires one year from issuance and is valid in Wyoming only.
Who returns the license, and by when
The officiant returns the completed license to the issuing County Clerk’s office within ten days after the ceremony.
