Do you hold or take a cut of my payments?
We never hold your money. Payments run through Stripe straight into your own account — there is no RiteBinder balance and no payout we control. On the payments you collect through RiteBinder we do take a platform fee, and here it is: 1% for Solo and Studio, 2% on Free, card or bank transfer alike. It comes out of your take, never added to your client's bill, and there is no ceiling clause to read — one number, published, at every payment size. Collect on your own Stripe, Square, or Venmo links instead and we charge nothing on it; we never price you into our rail.
I already have a website.
Keep it — your booking page isn't a replacement, it's the link your website has been missing. Put it behind your "Book me" button and a visitor can leave booked, not just in touch.
Do drafts ever reach my couple before I approve them?
No, and that's built in, not a setting. Every draft lands in your review queue. You cut it, rewrite it, and accept it block by block — and only a script you send reaches the portal.
Does RiteBinder contact my couples on its own?
Only when you tell it to, and always in your name. Reminders and questionnaires go out in your brand.
Will my price go up later?
Prices are flat and published on this page, and a change will never surprise you: existing customers get at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies, changes never land mid-billing-period, and annual billing sets your rate for the full year.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Export everything — scripts and their versions, clients, ceremonies, agreements, money records, your whole library — as one JSON file, free, on every tier, forever. Ceremony documents download as PDF and Word. If you cancel, nothing is deleted: your account moves to the free tier and everything stays readable and editable.
A note from the founder
I'm building RiteBinder because leading a ceremony is two jobs pretending to be one. You book it and get paid, and you write it and perform it — and most tools only ever do half, leaving you to stitch the rest together the night before.
RiteBinder is one desk for the whole thing. Weddings are where most of the year's work sits, so that is where it is sharpest — and it carries your whole practice, handled with the care each ceremony deserves. It's independent: no lock-in, and your data exports with you, always. If it hands you back your evenings, it's earning its keep.
