Are there setup fees?
No setup fees, ever. You sign up, build your first ceremony, and send an agreement the same day.
Do you hold or take a cut of my payments?
We never hold your money. Payments run through Stripe straight into your own account — there is no RiteBinder balance and no payout we control. On the payments you collect through RiteBinder we do take a platform fee, and here it is: 1% for Solo and Studio, 2% on Free, card or bank transfer alike. It comes out of your take, never added to your client's bill, and there is no ceiling clause to read — one number, published, at every payment size. Collect on your own Stripe, Square, or Venmo links instead and we charge nothing on it; we never price you into our rail.
Is there a limit on how many ceremonies I can book?
Free holds 2 active ceremonies at a time — a real working trial. Solo and Studio are unlimited. Your subscription never meters your ceremonies, and there are no quote or booking quotas on any tier. The one charge that moves with what you collect is the RiteBinder platform fee, published in the payments answer above.
How do the script-draft limits work?
Script drafts are the first passes you ask for. Free includes 3 a month, Solo 25, Studio 60. Every draft lands in your review queue — nothing is ever sent to a couple or family without you accepting it first.
Will my price go up later?
Prices are flat and published on this page, and a change will never surprise you: existing customers get at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies, changes never land mid-billing-period, and annual billing sets your rate for the full year.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Export everything — scripts and their versions, clients, ceremonies, agreements, money records, your whole library — as one JSON file, free, on every tier, forever. Ceremony documents download as PDF and Word. If you cancel, nothing is deleted: your account moves to the free tier and everything stays readable and editable.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel anytime from Settings. Annual plans run to the end of the paid year.
What about the slow season — can I pause?
The Free tier is the parking lot. In a quiet stretch, drop to Free and your library, past ceremonies, and scripts stay intact; pick a paid plan back up when booking season returns. There's no separate pause tier at launch — Free already keeps your work whole.
Does RiteBinder contact my couples on its own?
Only when you tell it to, and always in your name. Reminders and questionnaires go out in your brand.
Do drafts ever reach my couple before I approve them?
No, and that's built in, not a setting. Every draft lands in your review queue. You cut it, rewrite it, and accept it block by block — and only a script you send reaches the portal.
